Me and a couple of friends agreed a couple of years ago that we were all going to travel to Thailand for a month or two for a real sending off for ourselves before we joined the rat race! Unfortunately it has taken us a couple of years being involved in the rat race to even be able to consider going over there for financial reasons! It’s not cheap trying to buy an airfare to Thailand and after University we just couldn’t afford it.
In the end we all saved for a couple of years and decided that we would take a month off together to get this trip out of our system. We all felt like real adult hood was just round the corner and we wanted to have fun while we still could!
We all got together to see what we could find online in terms of flights and after only a few minutes of searching we tracked down some flights to Bangkok which really weren’t anywhere near as expensive as we thought they might be. As soon as we saw them we knew we had to go for it. They were about one hundred pounds cheaper than any of the other flights we had come across.
To be honest I don’t even remember an awful lot about our holiday! I know that we had a lot of booze and a lot of fun! It was an amazing trip to an amazing country and I am determined to one day go back.
